One of the women that changed the female fitness landscape was the first Ms. Olympia, Rachel McLish.
Rachel showed an image to the public at large that female bodybuilders didn't look like men and that fitness was indeed sexy.

She appeared in movies, wrote books and even showed up in music videos.
And though in "Pumping Iron 2: The Women" she may not have appeared to be the most likeable lady in the world, her popularity didn't wane.
